What a result! £1.5m total for Bedfordshire Festival
On Saturday 5th September, Bedfordshire Freemasons celebrated raising a total of £1,538,643 for the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys at an event to mark the conclusion of their Festival Appeal.
The event, held in the presence of Pro Grand Master Peter Lowndes, marked the conclusion of an Appeal that was launched by Provincial Grand Master Michael J. Sawyer.
During the Appeal, Freemasons and their families from the Province worked tirelessly in support of Freemasonry’s oldest charity, which currently supports around 2,000 children and young people from Masonic families who have experienced distressing circumstances and financial hardship.
Thanking the members of the Province for their remarkable achievement, the President of the RMTGB, Mike Woodcock, said: “Thank you for all that you have done to support so many children whose lives have been and will be changed by our work.”
