CHORAL BURSARIES

Established in 1995 the Trust’s Choral Bursary scheme awards bursaries to choristers at 22 cathedrals and other choral foundations. The bursaries enable children to join a choir and attend the choir school when their families are unable to meet the fees.

Recipients do not have to come from a Masonic family. Normally, only one bursary at a time is awarded at each cathedral and the child is usually nominated by the cathedral or choir school.

Conductor: Roger Sayer, Director of Music at Rochester Cathedral, organist: Sean Farrell, together with the Locke Brass Consort. To receive a CD recording of the concert please contact the Trust or purchase online from Letchworth.
