Support for young people attending full-time college courses is usually in the form of termly allowances. These can be supplemented by additional grants, for example for travel and equipment. Part-time courses are not usually supported by the Trust.

If your child is studying for a work-based qualification such as an apprenticeship or e2e course the Trust may be able to help by supplementing their earnings.

If your child is 16-19 and in full-time education, they could be eligible for Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) paid by the Government.
